Fantastic stay, room was very well laid out, beautiful bed linen and towels. Lovely en-suite bathroom. Host so attentive and helpful. Beautiful building and excellent location. We will definitely be returning.

Thank you to Kenny and his ladies for the wonderful stay at your beautiful hotel, within easy reach of shops, and transit if you are not driving. Close to downtown and all that Dundee has to offer. If you are a senior travelling on your own and are looking for a lovely clean and friendly place to stay please pick the Calendon you will not be disappointed.

Excellent stay at The Clarendon. Great location, 25 minute walk to city centre. Nice pubs and restaurants close by. Rooms immaculate and tastefully decorated. Great views over the Tay.

Another lovely night at The Clarendon. We are so happy we discovered this place. Kenny, the owner, could not be more helpful, and the rooms are so immaculate and well-equipped. We are already looking forward to returning.

Lovely, modern hotel. Situated in the west side of Dundee. 10 minute walk and you're close to the city centre and some nice bars.

Great place to stay overnight in Dundee. In a great, lively area, close to the university. Really good places to eat, one great pub nearby (Speedwell Bar). Highly recommended. There was lots of tech on show as well, but can be switched off in the room if you wish.

Very nice room, lots of techy modern gimmicks (you can ask Alexa to close window curtains or turn on the light), colorfully and creatively decorated, good shower. A gem.

Such a lovely stay at the Clarendon. Smart, comfortable, luxury rooms with everything you could need. Easy free parking out the front of the hotel. Communication from owner about check in and details of stay came via email and so helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again (for the view over the Tay alone!).

We stayed at The Clarendon for one night in May, meeting friends travelling south from Aberdeen. We all had a super stay, the rooms are very big and spacious and so very quiet. The comms prior to and on arrival - and meeting Kenny the owner - was excellent. Oh, and the nest of umbrellas by the front door was a godsend... as we headed out for dinner on a (typically) wet Dundee evening! Loved the Dundee cake too, a very nice touch

Spotless and well decorated, the owner was very informative of local eateries, but the tiny sink in the shower room maybe should be changed out for a larger one, as the high pressure water splashed over the sink.please take this as constructive criticism

Probably the best hotel in Dundee! We stayed here for a night on our road trip. The self check in was very nice and efficient. Our room was big and luxurious. We had everything we needed and more. The host even gave us a Dundee Cake which was so nice. We had a good night of sleep which was needed. I will definitely stay here again if I have the occasion.

I arrived at the Clarendon after a very long day of travel from Shetland Island. Our host Kenny, greeted us at the door and personally showed us to our room,  "The Darling Suite". Let me tell you this room is huge, smartly decorated, comfortable, small kitchenette with a refrigerator,  microwave, and a small bottle of milk for coffee/tea.  We enjoyed some afternoon tea with cake and trust me, this being my 7th hotel stay in 2 weeks... it was so  wonderful. There is parking on the street and within a small walking distance many restaurants to choose from for meals. Our host recommended a place and it was fantastic.   It was called The Maker and is right across the street from College of Art and Design. The bed is California King size and the pillows are amazing!  They're not those pillows that go flat - which I hate. The shower is raindrop (loved this) and handheld water wand. The towels are nice and not those rough ones you see everywhere.  There is shampoo and shower gel in the shower. There is a breakfast table with dishes if you are staying for longer than one night.   It would be easy to save some money with the refrigerator by buying food for easy breakfast or lunch. I only stayed one night so it wasn't needed,  but I did store my leftovers from dinner in there.   Usually. I would have to throw it away,  but with fridge I have lunch for tomorrow... no problem. Overall,  I wholeheartedly would absolutely recommend this place to stay. It was absolutely amazing!!!!

What a gem! Was a little sceptical at 1st & wasn't expecting much, but boy, was I mistaken. Lovely host & the rooms are gorgeous. Very spacious, immaculate, beautifully decorated with every amenity you could wish for. The only downside for me was i was only here for 1 night

Such a lovely stay! We booked the King suite (the Lionel on the ground floor) and had a wonderful experience. The check in process was easy, our requests were quickly accommodated, and the owner was very kind and friendly! The room itself was amazing, with a super comfy bed, wonderful shower, and a fully equipped kitchenette. Wish we had booked in for longer! We will absolutely be back when we’re back in Dundee and will recommend to all our friends & family!

Comfy room. Fresh, modern, clean, and with all the latest technology for accommodation. Lovely colours & textures. Big winged back lounge chairs. Very handy having fridge & kitchenette. Very friendly & helpful owner. Excellent location
